"The Multimaster has proven to be the most veratile and comfortable of all hand tools I've had the pleasure to use. Working as a technology curator at the Australian War Memorial gives me a chance to use a variety of specialist tools constantly. I could most likely comment on nearly all the tools made in the last ten years with the exception of the Kershaw which to me looks too complicated. I always try to follow the KISS principle whenever possible. The Multimaster gets my vote !"

"I have just been doing some tests - Gerber Multi-Lock versus Multimaster. Much of a muchness except in cutting wire and especially in screwing (torque effect) where the Multimaster has the edge. Also, because Multimaster is simpler, there is less worry of potential spring breakage as could occur on the the Gerber Multi Lock. I strongly recommend both tools to anybody. But for regular daily use in my profession, the choice is with Multimaster. In my opinion, the Multimaster is the best multi tool on the market."
